Serapias politisii

Υβριδογενής ορχιδέα με προφανή γονικά είδη την Serapias bergonii και Serapias parviflora. Περιγράφηκε πρώτη φορά από την Κέρκυρα και θεωρούνταν ενδημική της δυτικής Ελλάδας, αλλά αργότερα βρέθηκε στην Ιταλία και Τουρκική Ανατολία. Είδος με ενδιάμεσα χαρακτηριστικά και χείλος μήκους, περίπου, 20 χιλιοστών. Ανθίζει Απρίλιο-Μάιο.
Orchid of hybrid origin, with Serapias bergonii and Serapias parviflora as the obvious parental species. Kerkyra (Corfu) is the first location, where it was described and considered endemic to eastern Greece, but later it was found on Italy and Anatolia (Turkey). It has intermediate characters and medium lip length, around 20mm. Flowering time: April-May.
